History
Starting as a small adventure company on the scenic banks of the Ayung River, SOBEK quickly grew to become Bali’s most popular adventure activity provider.
What began with white-water rafting has now expanded to include cycling trips, jungle trekking, village tours, and 4×4 off-road adventures—offering guests unforgettable ways to discover the natural and cultural beauty of Bali.
Our professional guides are trained to the highest international standards in safety, first aid, rescue, and customer service. They also complete foreign language training, ensuring guests from all over the world feel welcome, informed, and safe before every adventure.
Today, SOBEK is proud to be home to over 300 dedicated team members, all committed to creating exceptional and safe experiences for every guest.
Our Values
Many of our guides have been with SOBEK for over 20 years. Becoming a great river guide takes at least a decade of hands on experience and continuous training, and we’re proud to say that we have the most experienced guides on the river not just the boldest ones.
